The first walk of love in Vietnam
Guided by Let Love Rule message, Closeup continues to create big ideas to bring lovers closer in this year’s Valentine. In the love season of 2014, a Walk of Love together with a marvellous Valentine celebration has made a big hit with Vietnamese youngsters.
From the valuable insight of young couples who are struggling to find a place to celebrate their love, Closeup has initiated a marketing campaign rooting from Love Needs A Place Concept and build Walk of Love as a twist for the total campaign. Located right next to the hot zone for lovers – Starlight Bridge (Phu My Hung, District.7, HCMC ), Walk of Love is the only place in Vietnam where 99 couples’ hand prints and names are engraved permanently.
As soon as the news about the venue was leaked to public in the beginning of January, the Walk of Love has caught great attention of youth community. Articles written on the topic have been liked, shared and commented by hundred thousands of readers. The following online contest on Closeup Facebook and activities at Closeup Love Stations in the 3 big cities Ha Noi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City has also received thousands of entries who are running for places on the Walk of Love.
The campaign has made a remarkable impact, proven by more than 600,000 views on the 2 teaser video clips made to inspire campaign’s concept featuring the renowned couple Rapper Tien Dat and his girlfriend Hari.
More than 2000 youngsters let love rule in Closeup event
Closeup ends the campaign with a strikingly like-no-other Valentine celebration. This is not only opportunity to launch Vietnam’s first-ever Walk of Love but also a perfect platform to convey and celebrate Closeup’s Let Love Rule message.
Once again, people in love have a chance to speak out their love in a bigger version of Love Station made especially for the occasion or express their passion right on the famous Walk of Love. Loveable Valentine gifts are also given by Closeup to attended couples, aside from special performances of V-Pop stars like Dong Nhi, Noo Phuoc Thinh, 365 Band and the campaign ambassador couple Tien Dat & Hari. The one-and-only love parade adds the glamor to the whole Valentine celebration and makes it the most memorable event of the year for lovers in Vietnam.
