How many trainees are you looking for every year?

We recruit from 20 to 25 Trainees. This figure has remained fairly consistent for several years but still it depends on the qualifications of candidates and our business needs.

What kind of people are you looking for?

Our recruitment process is designed to assess your future potential in our environment, identifying the most able individuals to become our future leaders. We recruit against a set of management capabilities which are used to assess and develop managers throughout the Unilever world. These capabilities are Interpersonal Skills, Clarity of Purpose, Passion for Growth, Developing Self, Can-Do Spirit, Team Commitment and Team Leadership. We also look for evidence of motivation for the function you are applying to and for the world of FMCG business in general.

In which functions Trainees can work?

Marketing, Customer Development (including Field Sales), Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance and Human Resources.

When do Trainees start?

Trainees can start right after your graduation or sooner if you can. Your preference could be discussed with the recruitment team during the selection process. Normally, the selected trainees join us in July- August or January.
